Meet Michael Kott
Michael Kott is an entrepreneur and investor with more than 40 years of experience in the German and international capital markets.
He grew up as a market maker and equity trader during a time when capital markets were primarily used to finance and fund companies. Through his work in the financial-services industry, including his time at Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank, he developed a deep understanding of markets, companies, incentives, and risk.
Today, Michael acts as a trader and investor. Through MK-Equity, he focuses on startups, microcaps, and smallcaps, while building a growing ecosystem of investors, entrepreneurs, and co-builders.
His approach is personal, direct, and action-oriented. He values transparency, responsibility, aligned incentives, and people who think in solutions.
